Bihar - An Ideal State for Food Processing Industries Investment
Bihar Industrial Area and Development Authority (BIADA)has already allotted 70 acres of land at Mauja Khutiya, Mansi, Khargia, Bihar. The food park is located at Mansi village, Khagaria district in the state of Bihar. The proposed site for the food park has 70 acres. The site is well connected through national highway which is at a distance of only 500 m from the site of Food Park. Khagaria has major rail junction of Barauni- Guwahati which is major connected point for joining North Eastern states from rest of the country. Two National Highways, NH - 31 (Barhi to Guwahati) and NH-28 (Lucknow to Barauni), meet at “Zero Mile” near Barauni in Begusarai district. It is also the gateway to North-East for goods transportation, via surface transport which makes it a zone of heavy traffic movement. These characteristics of the proposed cluster make it highly suitable as a potential location for
development of the food park.
